Capt. Mike Fishing

Welcome to Captain Mike’s home page. I am a full-time Flight Controller for ISS, however have been boating for 30 years and am licensed by the USCG and Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Safety is priority 1. In addition to the required safety equipment, I carry a class 2 EPIRB, a PLB, a hand held backup GPS, Garmin Delorme satellite locator, and a backup VHF.

Inshore trips will be within Texas State Waters, which is Galveston Bay and up to 3 miles offshore. Offshore trips will be anywhere from 40-80 miles offshore. If I am unavailable to take you fishing, I know several full time guides who might be able to assist getting you on the water for either offshore and inshore fishing.

One thing I am always asked is "how do you recommend I cook this fish?" To answer that, I started to keep track of different recipes.
